1. Month 1

   Understand the paper and build your base

   Read the official pattern first, then make a realistic subject map for 4 subjects. Begin with Nursing & Medical Science, General Science, General Knowledge & Current Affairs. Focus on concepts before speed.

   Take one diagnostic topic test. Its purpose is to find gaps, not to judge your score.
2. Month 2

   Finish the core syllabus through practice

   Cover the remaining syllabus, including Malayalam, while revising Month 1 every week. Move from untimed questions to short timed sets.

   Keep a single error log: concept missed, why it happened and the correct method.
3. Month 3

   Build exam temperament with mocks

   Use the real exam time limit (About 90 minutes (objective test)) in full-length practice. Review every mock longer than it took to attempt it; the review is where improvement happens.

   Turn each weak area from your error log into a 30–45 minute repair session.

What to focus on as you move through the plan

1. 1

   Master nursing fundamentals first

   Fundamentals of nursing, anatomy and physiology, medical-surgical and community-health nursing carry the most weight. Build vital signs, infection control, blood groups, CPR, immunization and basic pharmacology into strong, repeatedly revised notes.

2. 2

   Lock down common drugs and first aid

   Know the common ward drugs and their uses, ORS and rehydration, and first-aid steps for burns, wounds and emergencies. These are predictable, high-return marks.

3. 3

   Keep general science plus-two solid

   Physics, chemistry and biology at plus-two level, especially human physiology, recur across the paper. Drill the durable facts until they are quick and automatic.

4. 4

   Focus current affairs on health

   Health schemes such as Karunya Arogya Suraksha Padhathi and Ayushman Bharat, notified diseases, immunization and Kerala's PHC/FHC-based health system are distinctive and often tested — track them closely.

5. 5

   Practise Malayalam in its script

   Sandhi, synonyms, antonyms, word forms and idioms reward steady practice. Revise the standard rules and common examples so the Malayalam questions become reliable marks.

6. 6

   Take full timed mocks

   The objective paper is speed-based. Sit full timed mocks to build pace and section balance, and review the worked solution for every question you miss — every mark counts on a ranked list.
