What is the IBPS RRB exam?

IBPS RRB is the common recruitment process conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to select staff for the Regional Rural Banks, popularly known as Gramin Banks. It fills two main streams of posts — Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager) — along with the senior Officer Scale II and Officer Scale III cadres. For Office Assistant and Officer Scale I, selection runs in two written stages — a Preliminary Exam and a Main Exam.
