The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to AICTE-approved MBA and PGDM programmes across India. It gives management aspirants a single, standardised score that a large number of business schools accept, so one test can open doors to many institutes rather than requiring a separate exam for each.

CMAT is a three-hour computer-based test of 100 questions worth 400 marks, spread over four compulsory sections of 25 questions each — Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness — plus an optional Innovation & Entrepreneurship section. Eligibility criteria

Nationality: Indian citizens are eligible; some participating institutes also admit foreign nationals and NRIs through their own norms.
Qualification: A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university, with no minimum-percentage bar set by the test itself.
Final-year students: Candidates in the final year of their bachelor's degree can also appear, subject to completing the degree before admission.
Age: There is no upper age limit to appear for CMAT.
Attempts: There is no limit on the number of attempts; the test is usually held once a year.
Admission: A valid CMAT percentile is required, but final admission follows each institute's own selection process.

Month 2
Finish the core syllabus through practice
